What it is
NeuraVance Labs builds a discreet EEG wearable that sits behind the ear and records brain activity day and night. The company started from epilepsy: today care relies on handwritten seizure diaries and short EEG snapshots in hospital, which leaves clinicians with little objective data between visits.
Where it is going
The first product on the market is a brain-health device, which is the faster commercial route. Research on continuous epilepsy monitoring carries on in the background, on the same ear-worn EEG platform.
What I do
I am CTO: I set the technical direction and lead the device across hardware, signal acquisition and software.
